Tie clips?

Question:

I'm looking for a gift for my husband who will be going for job interviews soon. Do men still wear tie clips or tie tacks? Are they fashionable, geeky, a nice touch or what? Thanks!

Tie clips, pins etc. are practical accessories and add a touch of class to an outfit. They are not considered in the realm of high fashion accessories. Consider them as you would a bow tie, an item that highlights the style of the man wearing it. Bow ties are not the height of fashion but they do make a statement about the man and can be considered his signature.

Unless your husband needs or wants to differentiate himself style wise I recommend that he does not wear any superflous items that may detract attention from him during the course of an interview.
